Finish for Marinangel, Top 5 for Brown
In what is sure to be a foreshadowing
of things to come....the times at BlackHawk are going down,
down, down. And more and more drivers are reaching those low
1:19s!!! It makes for exciting qualifying and racing! Congratulations
to Jim Marinangel, Car 5, for his third place finish
with the fastest race time of 1:19.123. Congratulations also
to Dale Brown, Car 21,
for his 5th place finish, with a time of 1:19.603. There was
tight racing all through this event, with a great battle between
Gary Mass, Dave Watson and Dale Brown. Dale came out the winner
in that one. The other good match-up was Mike McCann, Becky
Bach and Bill Douglas, with Mike the winner in that competition.
Other Elite drivers finishing well include Mike McCann,
Car 38, 8th, Becky Bach, Car 22, 9th, Bill
Douglas, Car 7, 10th, Tom
Doerr, Car 03, 11th, and Ruben Garcia, Car 3,
12th.
Congratulations also to Jim Ferro,
driving in the GT2 class this weekend. He remains undefeated!!!
