Nekich Wins First Race, Ablard and Brown Round Out Podium, Shapiro Earns Top 10 Finish

Congratulations to Steve Nekich Car 6, who won his first race ever! The race was very exciting as many passes were made up and down the field. Bill Douglas also earned another pole. Congratulations also to Bob Ablard Car 66, who finished second and Dale Brown, Car 21, who finished 3rd. Elite took 6 of the top 10 spots. Other drivers who finished well include: Jim Ferro Car 37, 4th; Bill Douglas Car 7, 6th, Dave Shapiro Car 02, 7th (his first Top 10); Keith Conroy Car 35, 12th; Jack Aten Car 02, 14th; Larry Fuerst Car 04, 15th; David Riese Car 4; 17th; Becky Bach Car 22, 18th; Alan Lewis Car 16, 19th and Mel Boldt Car 8; 22nd.
